Opening Doors
Opening Doors is an 8 week (16 hours) programme designed to help people acquire and manage their tenancy. Led by a qualified Occupational Therapist aided by other professionals and experienced helpers, the course equips clients in the basic skills needed to successfully maintain a tenancy.
The weekly topics range from Moneyskills & Budgeting to Cooking & Fire Safety.
Certificates are awarded at a graduation ceremony attended by members of tutors, clients & family plus representatives of other supporting agencies.
The Opening Doors course runs in Scunthorpe and Barton upon Humber.
